| 4904 | 46ABA371-4FED-4181-9010-2EDB68612C26 | 10100410 | Pictures at an Exhibition, Part 3: Promenade; Tuileries; Bydlo | This is an impressive and massive work for mature bands! Boyd's setting is not a simple rehashing of the famous Ravel orchestration, as Boyd remains more faithful to the bold musical language of Mussorgsky's original composition. This exciting work fits the bill for better high school and college bands, yet is substantial enough to meet the needs of professional organizations as well. The work is available in its entirety with all seven sections and the score included at a value-minded price, or each of the individual sections may be ordered individually as a set of parts only and the complete score (10105314) may be purchased separately should only certain sections be of interest. The sections include: Part 1: Promenade; Gnomus-Gnomus. Part 2: Promenade; Il Vecchio Castello.Part 3: Promenade; Tuileries; Bydlo. Part 4: Promenade; Ballet Of The Chicks In Their Shells; Two Jews, One Rich, The Other Poor; Promenade. Part 5: Limoges-The Market Place; Catacombae; Cum Mortuis In Lingua Mortua. | 4908 | 46BE9C26-3CFF-44AC-B5E0-D8C6C1753B4F | 20512390 | Song and Polka | This trio is designed for players with a very limited range, keeping the performance stress of endurance at a minimum, and each player is provided with an occasional few bars of rest - so essential to all brass players, and so often neglected. The first trumpet part does not go above D in the staff, and the third part only goes down to A below middle C twice. The trio opens with a very short and simple eight measures of legato playing, and quickly moves into a moderate polka tempo and style. The polka begins with all playing the same rhythms, but branches into some independent rhythms. This is an excellent choice for a first trio experience in contest. | Bb Trumpet Trio | |

| 4912 | 46D337CD-5F13-4160-90F0-2BBFCE1A4E89 | 50250194 | Silent Night for Strings and Harp | Silent Night by Franz Gruber, arranged by Jeremy Martin, brings delicate warmth and peace to the holiday season. After a few years of gentle prodding by Lynne Latham to write a string arrangement for the Latham Music catalog, Martin completed this arrangement of Silent Night in 2021. After Lynne passed away unexpectedly in early 2022, Martin dedicated the arrangement to her memory. No eyes will be dry after hearing this lovely rendition, which includes legato lines, harmonic depth, a brief solo violin I and II part, and shifting for all voices. Subtle changes in tempo during the arrangement will further inspire the attention of the audience. This arrangement is bound to be requested every year and is a must-have for your Level 3.5 holiday library. | String Orchestra | |

Presented as a concert overture, the theme and variations are immensely enjoyable to perform and to hear, time and time again. The level of difficulty is deceiving, as the work sounds more difficult than, technically, it is. This new arrangement for flexible ensemble was created by Clarence Barber. | Flex band | |
