AUDIO LESSONS-there are 30 brief (35- 75 second) audio lessons which provide AURAL "immersion" in Major and minor tonalities and movable "do" solfege. Available treble voice CD (3770954), and bass voice CD (3770955).

TONAL GRIDS (3770929 – 5 pack) - audio lessons 5 - 30 are represented graphically on GRIDS. These grids represent a simple and useful transitional stage from the audio lessons to traditional notation.

MUSIC READING EXERCISES (3770930 - 5 pack) - the final step in VOCAL CONNECTIONS is the reading of TRADITIONAL NOTATION.

TEACHER’S KIT (3770928) Contains all the above material, with additional instruction regarding methods and lesson planning.

Generally more relaxed multi-movement pieces, the divertimenti were flexible, both for outdoor and indoor performances, though they retained a chamber-like intimacy either way, and they were customarily written to celebrate a specific occasion or celebration. While we do not know for certain the occasion for which Mozart's DIVERTIMENTO No. 7 in D, K. 205/167a was written, it may have premiered on August 8, 1773 in Salzburg for a University Graduation. Where most divertimenti are introduced with a march, this one is unusual in that is begins with a Largo, an unusually serious approach for lighter music. 94328A24F11A-999D-4624-ABC6-6EFDC9FDFA6AA334002Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 in F, BWV 1046 (critical edition)The Brandenburg Concertos are a collection of six instrumental works by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) written around or before 1721 to be presented to Christian Ludwig, the Margrave of Brandenburg-Schwedt. With the original French title "Six Concerts à plusieurs instruments" (Six Concertos for several instruments), some feature multiple solo instruments in different combinations. These works are considered among the best orchestral compositions of the Baroque period. Brandenburg Concerto No. 1, BWV 1048, might be considered Bach's favorite given that he used it three times in cantatas he composed later, and it also has the largest scoring of the six. The original version of the score did not include the French Violino piccolo solo at all. It was included later when Bach was in Dresden for his projected contest with Marchant. Bach rewrote the third movement as a concerto for the Violin piccolo in the style of jig, then went back and incorporated the Violino piccolo into the other movements. As the Violino piccolo sounds up a third from where it is written, two parts are included: a FINGERING NOTATION copy and a CONCERT NOTATION copy. This edition by Heinrich Besseler includes an extensive preface and editor's notes. The continuo in the harpsichord part has been realized by Eduard Müller. 94348A2602E2-8C59-4BDA-A895-5CE1260EAE52A934390Capriol Suite for String OrchestraClaude Debussy once described the music of Peter Warlock (1894-1930) as encompassing a "fine dreamy musicality." CAPRIOL SUITE, one of Warlock's most popular works, is a dance suite based on Orchésographie, a book of Renaissance dances by the French priest Thoinot Arbeau. Written in October 1926, it was dedicated to composer Paul Ladmirault. Following the success of the original piano duet, Warlock scored the work for string orchestra in 1926 (in this version presented by Kalmus) and for full orchestra in 1928.
