32842E92662E-8FFA-47F5-B24D-FAB4FB8ADFE4EBM220359Street JamComposed for and recorded by trumpeter Eric Berlin and percussionist Eduardo Leandro, this work moves through a variety of popular styles and features both players in dazzling passages. Like the title implies, the use of bongos-only makes this work highly transportable to virtually any venue. “Street Jam is a delightfully crisp and punchy work. The two forces, trumpet and bongos, work together at times, against each other at times, and upstage each other at times. The title is a perfect visual image to put with the music. Hause has captured wonderful energy and drive in this piece.” --Sequenza 21Trumpet in C, Bongos

Albert Wang has crafted this accessible arrangement for strings by breaking a few traditions as well. The original six-eight meter has been changed to three-four for ease of reading and many fingerings have been marked to assist younger players.String Orchestra

32922EABC066-76DF-4A9C-8C0B-B79AC851227C10100479Egmont OvertureThis is great music that works extremely well for band when scored by a master arranger like John Cacavas. Beethoven composed the incidental music to Goethe's tragedy Egmont in 1810 (opus 84). The story concerns a historic figure, the Count of Egmont in the Netherlands, who is condemned to death by the occupying Spaniards. Like his only opera, Fidelio, it was a tale that attracted the composer because of the concept of individual freedom.Concert Band
