| 3042 | 2B299603-B976-40EB-9FCA-D938E76716C6 | 50344009 | Easy Original Clarinet Duets and Trios | Beautifully written and arranged with the young player in mind, these 33 duets and trios make wonderful concert and festival repertoire for early performance. Several of the titles coordinate with other books in the Easy Original Duets and Trios series and may be played in mixed combinations of instruments. There is even a very nice easier selection that can be performed with snare drum. Teachers looking for new and interesting material will be pleased to find several enjoyable selections in a variety of styles, suitable for players whose performance abilities range from beginner to intermediate levels. We enthusiastically recommend the easier duets and trios as first concert material. The note ranges in these selections are very limited and the writing style encourages independent thought. | Bb Clarinet | |

| 3050 | 2B41E365-272C-453A-A8A3-2C346A92A271 | 50711003 | Six Violin Duets, v. 2, Nos. 3-4 | A student of Gaetano Pugnani, Giovanni Battista Viotti (1755-1824) made his sensational debut in Paris in 1782. He performed his own works as it was common in the era . Both his violin playing and his compositions were equally praised by audiences and critics alike. Compositions for two violins are a very important part of Viotti's creations. Viotti included chamber music in his studio, with students performing alongside with the Master. These Six Duets, Op. 19 are published in three volumes. Not only are they pedagogically important, but also terrific concert repertory material. Meticulous care and attention to every detail has been taken in the notation, bowing and fingering of these works by editor and Jascha Heifetz protégé, Endre Granat. | Violin Duo | |

Here, according to the opera-score, the trombones speak for the first time. The music repeats the first ten measures of the Introduction. The half-cadence into which they lead is imitated from that which stands before the beginning of Act I. The final new Allegro corresponds to the closing scene of the entire opera: 'Questo e il fin di chi fa mal.' In this I have employed the trombones (not contained in the opera-score) as a substitute for the vocal ensemble-passages." - Ferruccio Busoni.
