15949E9EC9CDB-00CA-475D-9964-DA1C9C482F62MP924001I Dream of Peace for Children's Chorus and PianoIn 1996, during a trip to Washington, DC, Robert Jager and his wife visited the Holocaust Museum. In the bookstore of the museum, the composer discovered a book of poims and drawings by children of former Yugoslavia. Both the pictures and the words came to life, and it was immediately apparent that his text cried out for music. With the permission of the United Nations Children's Education Fund, and with a grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission, the composition I Dream of Peace for two-part children's chorus and orchestra was written. The seven movements of the composition paint a picture of despair, devastation, fear, and anger. But in the end, the eternal optimism of the children shines through with a glimmer of hope for peace. Movements: I. Prelude: As If Nothing Happened II. I Am Speaking to You III. War is the Saddest Word IV. In My Dreams V. Testimony VI. If I Were President VII. I Dream of PeaceChildren's 2 part chorus and piano

15952E9F67C74-B6A3-45C3-BFBC-56BB93F4E71E10532248Divertimento No. 70A three movement Haydn chamber work for your trio! Also known as "Barytontrio No. 70" in some editions, this work originally written for baryton, viola and violoncello is one of about 175 compositions written for the baryton (a stringed instrument similar to the viola da gamba) by Haydn between 1762 and 1775. Given that the blend of the three similar instruments makes it difficult to distinguish the sound of the individual instruments, arrangements for euphonium, trombone, bassoon, and cello trios, all available from the publisher, presents no major alteration to the original version.Trombone Trio

He wrote all both secular and sacred music but was most famous in his lifetime for his church compositions, particularly the cantatas and large works for orchestra and soloists. His Concerto in G for violin is one of his most-performed solo works. This arrangement by Philip Clark makes this work accessible for an advanced-intermediate violinist with very reasonable string orchestra parts.Violin, String Orchestra
