| Short Bio | Edmund Cionek’s new music is as vibrant and eclectic as New York, the city in which he lives. Recent works such as American Remix, Aria and Frenzy, and Three Apparitions are lyrical, colorful, and engaging. Others including Spirit of the Lake (Oboe Concerto), Symphony No. 1 (The Adirondacks) and Three Seascapes (piano) reveal a strong connection to the natural world. Years of collaboration with the award-winning a cappella vocal group, The Accidentals, has resulted in unique choral works including Ed Wood: The Sinister Urge (libretto by Albert Evans), I Stand with You (Walt Whitman), and Tribute to the 25th Anniversary of the Gerald Ford Administration.
