After her death in 1966, the manuscript resided in the New York Public Library for nearly half a century. The piece was later re-dedicated to the great pianist and human rights campaigner Hephzibah Menuhin Hauser. With the publication of this facsimile edition, a rare and worthy jewel by one of the last Late Romantic composers may at last be rediscovered. |
