Title NameCastle Gap
Marketing CopyCastle Gap Pass, which is located west of Rankin, Texas between King and Castle Mountains, has a long history of being used as a busy crossroad for nomadic tribes of Indians, by marauding Comanches to raid northern Mexico, and by Spanish explorers and westard-moving pioneers. J. Clifton Williams was originally commissioned by the Rankin High School Band to right the march. This new edition of Castle Gap by Tommy J. Fry is a belated thank you from the editor to Mr. Williams for offering advice and encouragement to a very young and inexperienced composer, with the intention of introducing this fine march to the newest generation of band directors and their students.
