The third of three settings of the Marian antiphon Regina coeli (Queen of Heaven), it remains the best-known setting of the Latin Regina Caeli for Eastertide Mass. Written for four soloists, choir, and orchestra, it is a one movement work in which the soloists alternate with the full chorus.
