| Title Name | Howa Bouta Cha Cha |
| Marketing Copy | The title is a play on words. At a dance invariably a couple will approach the leader of the band in between tunes and say 'Howa Bouta Cha-cha'' Latin music is an excellent choice for large percussion ensembles because of the number of color instruments to be used in the accompaniment. This ensemble requires 9 players but it is advisable to have more than one player on at least some of the mallet parts. The ensemble must always strive for balance of parts, keeping the accompanying voices in that role. Some stickings have been marked to facilitate learning. This ensemble is lots of fun to play, with much to be learned as well, and enjoyable for the audience as well. |
