The work was written right about the time of Hurricane Andrew during the Summer of 1992.  The witnessing of a rushing wind out of nowhere and disrupting the lives of many people affected me tremendously right at a time when I was in search of spiritual peace.  Witnessing a natural act of God such as this storm prompted me to seek a religious perspective in the writing of this work, The Eleventh Hour (The Act of God).

As this storm rushed through with no warning, I rushed through the reading of the Bible to aimlessly get a quick understanding of my life and my existence here on earth.  I observed this power greater than man, in the storm and compared it with the written Word.

One tends to not think about how great God's power is until something like a storm hits.  My need to understand this "Master Power" was just as forceful as the storm.  Upon the destruction of the hurricane, I began to understand my relationship with God.  Realizing oneness with God and becoming aware to one power and presence in the universe was revealed to me through spiritual growth.
