A Comic Fantasy for orchestral brass, Santa and Isolde was commissioned by The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra brass section, and was premiered during the 2010 holiday season at Lincoln Center. The Met Brass also featured it on their  CD release the same year, entitled "Waltzes, Songs, & Festive Scenes".

The work brilliantly mixes Christmas and Hanukah tunes with well-known opera themes to create a highly enjoyable holiday delight. Medley includes music from Jingle Bells, Carmen, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, La Boheme, Dreydl, Dreydl, Dreydl, The Magic Flute, & more. Santa and Isolde is bound to be entertaining for all audiences and venues: concert halls, shopping malls, schools and community centers.

The premiere recording was featured on public radio November 2010.
