SONGS WITHOUT WORDS (LIEDER OHNE WORTE) is an eight-volume collection of short lyrical piano works, written by Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847) between the years 1829 and 1845. Each volume, five of which were dedicated to women including his friend Clara Schumann, consists of six songs of varying mood and character. This is the third book of arrangements for violoncello and piano in a four-volume collection by Alfred Piatti. Included in Book 3: Op. 62 (Nos. 25-30); Op. 67 (Nos. 31-33, Nos. 35-36). Reprint edition.
